[ERV] Ventilation Unit Is Too Noisy
The ventilation unit is typically installed in the corner of the apartment balcony and is designed to circulate air throughout the entire home.
If the unit is installed adjacent to a bedroom or living space, operational noise may be more noticeable. In such cases, it is recommended to use the standard airflow settings, such as medium or low speed.
The high-speed airflow mode is an optional feature intended for situations where airflow needs to reach distant rooms. However, using this mode may cause noise to be transmitted to nearby spaces due to the unit’s location.
[ERV] Ventilation Unit Appears to Be Not Operating
The ventilation unit is typically installed in the corner of the apartment balcony and is designed to circulate air throughout the entire home. Because of this layout, airflow may not be uniform across all diffusers (air inlets/outlets).
To check if the unit is functioning properly, inspect the diffuser closest to the unit. If you can feel airflow there, the unit is operating normally. If you want to feel airflow in more distant rooms, you may need to manually adjust the intake and exhaust settings of nearby diffusers to balance the airflow across the space.
